It's the last day of the year, so I am posting an old photograph of an unknown young woman, which would be me, if I lived in that era. I am an avid collector of old photo's, either the physical pictures themselves, or on CD-ROM sold for crafting and scrapbooking.
Hello Again!
This is the companion to my other blog East Yorkshire Pudding (www.eyorkspud.blogspot.com.) Here I will post random photographs that I have taken myself, family photographs I have had given or borrowed, and have bought or found. Postcards will probably pop up now and again. Please feel free to comment, 'follow', or even send me something I may like to post.
I can't promise to post everyday, but I will try to do so regularly.

I posted this over a month ago on 'Twitter', but I like it so much, I am posting it again here. Taken mid November 2011, East Park, Hull.

First of two cute pictures of my dog, Bobby, to help you through what I call the 'Dead Days', the time inbetween Christmas and New Year. Taken early November 2011.

The Holly...
I would have liked to have taken some photo's of the Christmas lights in Hull City Centre, yet Hull City Council have surpassed their standards and made them so appalling, that to call them Christmas lights would be an embarrassment. Instead I have posted a picture of some holly taken on East Park, Hull, early December 2011.

We Need An Ark (3)
This is the ten foot at the back of my house. What you can't gauge in the picture is how deep it actually is! Taken July 2007

A Biscuit, Coffee & Dog
To celebrate Bobby coming to live with us exactly a year ago, I am going to post some pictures that were taken mid November this year, in the Pavilion Cafe, East Park, Hull.

Oh, Dr Beeching! (2)
Another remnant of the Hull to Hornsea railway line. In total, around 16,000 miles of railway line was lost due to Beeching Reports of the 1960's, written by Richard Beeching, the then chairman of the British Railways Board. This was photographed in March 2011.

Oh, Dr Beeching!
This is the kind of photo that local historians get excited about. What looks like a brick wall with slabs on the top, is actually one of the few remaining remnants of the Hull to Hornsea railway line. Opened in 1864, it ran from Paragon Station in Hull city centre, through what was then open countryside, through to Hornsea. In 1964 it closed to passengers and freight in 1965. You can still go to Hornsea more or less along the same route, but you would have to walk or cycle there. This was taken in March 2011.

Here Comes The Sun...(2)
The same tree taken immediately after yesterday's picture. The building in the background is the admin offices for East Park, Hull.

Here Comes The Sun...
The first of three photo's that are favourites of mine. Taken at the beginning of November this year, on East Park, Hull. This is the kind of Autumn scene I love.

It Could Almost Be Summer...
This is half way through the leaves dropping off the trees in East Park, Hull. Taken at the end of October this year.

London (2)
Again, taken on the 28th August 2011, this is part of the memorial to all the animals who lost their lives in various conflicts. It is situated opposite Hyde Park, London.

London
Not the best of pictures, but the thing with having a few days to see a lot, you are taking photo's on the move. This was taken on the 28th August 2011, near Hyde Park Corner, London. Nearby were sculptures of giant Jelly Babies, which, as you can guess, I didn't take a picture of!
